*        Trail that takes you to 5 roaring waterfalls.

o   Hiked in the park to see the views of Arenal volcano, total 5km.

*        Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park – $26 pp, total of 6 hanging bridges, was really nice.

*        Arenal Oasis Frog night tour – $40 pp, was really nice.

Don Olivo Chocolate and tropical fruits tour – $25 pp, was done by local family who grow everything in their yard, really recommended.

Hotel El Bosque – Route 602, Monteverde, Puntarenas, 60109

Road was not paved and with lots of turns, recommended a high clearance vehicle.

*        Night tour at El Bosque - $25 pp, was really nice and educated; saw some animals (armadillo, owl, sleeping birds etc.)

Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve

*        Cloud Forest Reserve (where you see the long bridge - $22 pp took a guided tour - $20 pp saw lots of animals. After the tour we went to see the hanging bridge, which was really nice and the window overview. Outside the park there is a place to see lots of hamming birds (where you can also purchase food).

*        In the village there is a butterfly Garden, The Ranario (frog pond), The Bat Jungle etc. We didn’t do any of those.

Zipline (Selvatura Canopy adventure) – 3 hours - $50 pp, was amazing although it was rainy.

*        Visit Tamarindo – a tourist city really nice with long beach.

*        Take a night tour to see turtle hatching:

o   https://www.leatherback.org/get-involved/join-us/las-baulas-national-park/visit-las-baulas they were sold out by the time we called, so we took a different tour (got a phone number from the national park) saw black turtles on Playa Minas (distance from hotel about 1 hour).

*        Restaurant: Falafel Bar (own by Israelis) - was very good.

*        On the way stop at Tarcoles bridge to see alligators.

*        Restaurant: El Avion – there is an airplane in the restaurant – was really good.

*        Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio - $16 pp.  Go when it is open as it get really crowded - take a guided tour (make sure to take it from the inside of the park) as they usually have a telescope which you can watch the wildlife closely. Here you can see different kinds of birds, lizards, bats, more sloths, and white-faced monkeys (takes about 2 hours, sometime wait time for entrance can be an hour). Take swimming stuff as there is a beach inside the park.

*        Restaurant: El Wagon (you can either sit inside the wagon or outside) – you can see lots of animals while eating.

This hotel is the closest to Manuel Antoni park (small rooms).

*        Mangrove boat tour with Iguana Tours – $65 pp was really interesting although we didn’t see too many animals; they also provided really tasty lunch.

*         ATV tour with FourTrax including dinner – was ok.

*        Go to downtown.

*        Visit the Central market.
